I started looking for a Friesian horse and saw a lot of the
big websites and began calling on the horses they had listed.
I was shocked by the pushiness of many of the brokers to buy
and import a horse from them. I began feeling like I was buying
a "used car" instead of a "hopefully", life
long friend. I came across Joellyn's website and just e-mailed
her with what I was looking for in a horse. She was professional
with me, but not pushy. She came up with several possibilities
for me and then I found one myself within a days driving distance
that I fell in love with. I called Joellyn and asked her opionion
on the horse, and she was more than helpful to me. She guided
me through the entire sale and helped me with things to look
for and pitfalls to stay away from. I was so impressed with
her because she was actually really happy for me that I found
a horse I liked. I was afraid she would be angry because I didn't
buy a horse through her, but to the contrary, she was wonderful!!!!
I liked her honesty, her love for the breed, and the fact that
it was "not all about the money". I would not hesitate
to buy through her, and I would recommend her any day. I may
be interested in one of her foals next spring!
